SHELL V-POWER RACING TEAM MOVES UP THE TEAMS STANDINGS

Anton De Pasquale – No.11 Shell V-Power Mustang

TTSO - P9 (Fastest Lap: 01:06.5490s)
Race 12 - P8 (Fastest Lap: 01:07.9863s)

Will Davison – No.17 Shell V-Power Mustang 
Qualifying - P4 (Fastest Lap: 1:05.9941s)
TTSO - P7 (Fastest Lap: 01:06.3412s)
Race 12 - P7 (Fastest Lap: 01:08.0139s)

It was a solid day for the Shell V-Power Racing Team at the Darwin Triple Crown. Both Anton De Pasquale, in the No.11 Shell V-Power Mustang and Will Davison, in the No.17 Shell V-Power Mustang made it through to the Top Ten Shootout. Davison started Race 12 in P7 and De Pasquale in P9. It was a good clean race from the Team, with well-executed pitstops and strategies. At the conclusion of Race 12 Davison and De Pasquale were the first Fords home, finishing P7 and P8 respectively. 

The Shell V-Power Racing Team now sits 3rd in the Teams Standings on 1609 points, having moved up two places. In the Driver's Standings Will Davison currently sits 7th on 813 points and Anton De Pasquale sits 8th on 796 points.

"Sunday Darwin done, it was good to make the shootout again! We just snuck in then obviously going out first for the shootout isn't ideal. The race was fun, we went quite long and then had to make some passes which was good. Overall it felt like the base was quite good, we started a little further back than where we needed to be to make any other challenges but happy to bank some solid points for both the Teams & Drivers standings. 

DAVISON - QUOTE ‍
"Nice to improve in qualifying from yesterday, which was important, 4th provisionally then 7th after the shoot-out. So good steps forward, not quite enough speed but a big thanks to the team for working hard overnight to implement those changes. The race was solid if not spectacular, I think we stuck well to our running late strategy, for a moment there I thought we were looking really good - I thought we were going to get back into the Top 5 pretty easily - but I got in the hot air trying to pass the last few cars so progress was haltered unfortunately. Still a solid race, with some really great points for the team, great pitstops from the team, and everything ran really clean. We've made good gains in points for the teams and drivers standings and of course, it's great to be the fastest Fords." ‍
