Jet Couriers delivers a new look for Shell V-Power Racing Team in NZ

March 16, 2025

The Shell V-Power Racing Team will sport new liveries on its two entries for the upcoming Taupō Super440 in New Zealand.

Current team partner Jet Couriers will step up its support of the Stapylton based squad for the third round of the Repco Supercars Championship across the Tasman in April.

The team will still go by its familiar Shell V-Power Racing Team moniker throughout the course of the popular New Zealand event, but the cars will hit the track in new, maroon Jet Couriers colours across all three days.

The iconic Shell pecten branding will remain a part of the new livery, featuring on both Brodie Kostecki and Will Davison’s Shell V-Power Mustangs.

As Shell V-Power is not available in New Zealand, Viva Energy (official Shell Licensee in Australia) made the decision to provide an opportunity for another brand to take over as the main partner on the livery at the New Zealand round.

Shell V-Power Racing Team CEO David Noble said the change was made possible thanks to the full support of Viva Energy and Jet Couriers.

“The Jet Couriers livery will look superb on the Shell V-Power Ford Mustangs,” Noble said.

“The Taupō Super440 will be another amazing event. Last year we saw just how passionate the New Zealand crowd were in what was a very successful event for us and we’re expecting another full house in April. I know there will be plenty of support for us in the new Jet Couriers livery.

“We’re also pleased to say that we’ll have some limited-edition Jet Couriers branded merchandise available at the track to celebrate the partnership.

“A huge thanks to Brett, Shaun and the entire team at Jet Couriers for extending their support and also to Viva Energy for allowing another brand the opportunity to be showcased on our cars.”

Jet Couriers Founder & Managing Director Brett Ralph said the organisation was proud to build on its existing partnership with the Shell V-Power Racing Team.

“Jet Couriers has a strong involvement with the Shell V-Power Racing Team and the opportunity to step up our support was an opportunity we didn’t want to miss, given our presence in New Zealand,” Ralph said.

“The new Jet Couriers livery looks outstanding on the Shell V-Power Ford Mustangs and we can’t wait to see them on track at Taupō in just under a month’s time.

“We’d like to thank Viva Energy for allowing us to have the predominant branding position on the car for this event, it’s a fantastic opportunity that wouldn’t be possible without their commitment to Dick Johnson Racing.”

The Taupō Super440 takes place on 10-13 April at Taupō International Motorsport Park.
