Day 2 of the Melbourne SuperSprint marked 550 Race Starts for Will Davison, in the No.17 Shell V-Power Mustang. Starting Race 4 in P8, Davison moved up the grid 3 places to finish P5. 

It was a disappointing race for Anton De Pasquale, in the No.11 Shell V-Power Mustang, who suffered contact on Lap 1 which caused steering rack issues and saw him DNF.

‍"Much better day today, starting 8th based on yesterday's qualifying, but the important thing was that we made the car a lot nicer. Straight away from the first lap, I knew that the car was more balanced than yesterday, which is always good to take some steps forward overnight and be in the hunt there. There were a few times I thought we might've been on for a podium, but I was also trying to manage the race as best as I could. Overall happy but a bit disappointed we couldn't get a podium, but obviously a good step forward and leaves us feeling a lot more confident heading into the next few days."
