SHELL V-POWER RACING TEAM FINISH P9 & P12 AT ADELAIDE 500

The Shell V-Power Racing Team finished the penultimate race of the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship season at the Adelaide 500, with Anton De Pasquale finishing P9 and Will Davison P12. The team returns to the track tomorrow for the year's final day of race action.

DE PASQUALE - QUOTE
"It was an exciting race with a very mixed grid obviously with the cancelled qualifying, which made it very exciting for the first 5 to 10 laps. Luckily I got through a few cars early which set up the race and then stayed around there for the rest of the race, but ultimately I don't think we had enough speed to do anything else. We will see what tomorrow brings."

DAVISON - QUOTE
"We had pretty solid pace in the car. It was a good race, besides the first opening laps for me. Unfortunately, I was just on the wrong end of the opening lap and I got shuffled out wide and lost six or so positions. The first stint was difficult but I kept the head down and one by one, we picked a few off, the second and third stint we were really quite good. We were actually quite speedy and we made a lot of ground forwards, so I think that's encouraging. I salvaged and maximised everything that I could. Besides those opening two laps where the damage was done, the rest of the race was good."
