SHELL V-POWER RACING TEAM EXPERIENCES CHALLENGING GOLD COAST 500

The Shell V-Power Racing Team encountered a difficult weekend at the Gold Coast 500, facing several challenges on track. On Sunday, Anton De Pasquale was unfortunately ruled out due to a first-lap incident, while Will Davison finished Race 22 in P20.

"It was definitely one of the toughest weekends I can recall in the last 15 years. We were chasing the car all weekend and everyone's been trying lots of things. Then, on the first lap, there's that big crash that saw Anton get taken out. I sustained a huge amount of damage to the rear of the car, which cost us a lot of rear downforce, and then we lost a lot of time in the stop repairing that, but the car felt a lot better, even with the damage. I know if we could qualify now, I'd be way, way, way faster. It's quite sad for the team and all of our fans because it was a terrible weekend, but at least we found some answers, just no results."
