Shell V-Power Racing Team drivers share success at Bathurst

April 21, 2025

It was a busy weekend for two Shell V-Power Racing Team drivers, with Will Davison and Todd Hazelwood on track at the recent Bathurst 6 Hour.

Hazelwood, co-driver for Brodie Kostecki in the Shell V-Power Mustang in 2025, managed to secure a class win in his Ford Mustang alongside Aaron Seton and Jason Gomersall, as well as an outright podium - finishing the gruelling endurance race third of all runners.

Hazelwood was also in action in the Trans Am Series, where he came away with a round win - as well as building the gap at the top of the Trans Am Series standings where he continues to lead the way.

The 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000 winner has started the year strong after claiming the Trans Am Series win in 2024 - now racing with the number 1 on the side of his car - and will feature at a number of Repco Supercars Championship events this year with Trans Am as a support category.

Meanwhile Davison, who drove alongside Beric Lynton and Tim Leahey, finished fourth overall in the Bathurst 6 Hour and third in class - an impressive result after a tough day on track. Davison's entry was wrongly penalised for a safety car infringement which was later rescinded by officials after the team had already served its pit lane penalty.

Davison's co-driver Tony D'Alberto is also racing outside of Supercars in 2025 most notably in the GT World Challenge Australia with Wall Racing. D'Alberto will next be in action at Sydney Motorsport Park on 2-4 May.
