DE PASQUALE TAKES HOME THE JASON RICHARDS MEMORIAL TROPHY

Will Davison – No.17 Shell V-Power Mustang 
Qualifying - P18 (Fastest Lap: 01:27.9886s)
Race 8 - P19 (Fastest Lap: 01:28.9231s)

Anton De Pasquale, in the No.11 Shell V-Power Mustang, finished in Provisional Pole after the Race 8 Qualifying Session, seeing him through to the Top Ten Shootout. At its completion, De Pasquale started race 8 in P4. Teammate Will Davison, in the No.17 Shell V-Power Mustang, started Race 8 in P18. 

De Pasquale moved up the grid 1 place to finish 3rd on the Podium. Finishing the weekend as the overall winner with 258 points, he was also awarded the Jason Richards Memorial Trophy. 

The Shell V-Power Racing Team now sits 4th in the Teams Championship, moving up the rankings 5 places after a successful weekend. Davison sits 9th on the Driver's Championship and De Pasquale sits 12th. 

DE PASQUALE - QUOTE 
"To go from a DNS to winning the next round is pretty cool! We got a heap of points this weekend, obviously, we've been struggling at the start of the year to execute in races, we've qualified in the Top Ten in nearly every race after but we haven't had many finishes there so to get a couple of podiums is really cool. It is a completely different style of track here, but I think this suits us more than where we've come from. But yeah to win the round and to win the JR Trophy is really, really special. I know how much it means to everyone and it means a lot to us too. We're very honoured to be able to win it after an awesome weekend at the first race here, which I think was a big success!

It's special, so special to be taking home the JR Memorial Trophy. The memory JR has left on the sport is amazing. So, to have my name next to it is a massive honour and it's not something I'll ever forget." 

DAVISON - QUOTE 
‍"Well, Sunday, was definitely a day to forget for me, unfortunately, both qualifying and the race were very, very tricky. We have to analyze what has gone wrong, because obviously, we had a very strong car Friday, and an amazing day Saturday having us both on the podium, which is what I'll try and focus on tonight and importantly, an amazing day for the team with Anton getting the Jason Richards Memorial Trophy.

JR was a good mate of mine and seeing his mum and dad up there presenting the trophy was very, very cool. so all in all, just very proud and happy for the team. I'm hurting a bit today just not a good day. But we'll understand what happened because we had a lot of potential this weekend. Unfortunately, all just went pear-shaped today, but  we'll get back and understand, where we went wrong."‍
