Friday saw one session take place for the Repco Supercars Championship, with the Shell V-Power Racing Team drivers making up ground in the day's solo outing.
Race 5 Results:
Brodie Kostecki - P7
Will Davison - P15
In the drivers' words:
Brodie Kostecki:
"Starting P9 today, so just wanted to get a good finish and hopefully gain a few spots, but it was pretty chaotic out there today," Kostecki said.
"There weren't many laps under green flags with the safety car periods - but we got two two spots there and we're right up there with the front park and and had quite good speed, I thought.
"We'll reset tonight and go again tomorrow."
Will Davison:
"Obviously a shortened race and we dodged the carnage, despite a couple of very close calls again," Davison said.
"But made some made some really good moves, some bold moves, moved up eight spots - so all in all glad to have got through another one with a straight car.
"We made a lot of changes to the car in the lead up, so plenty to look at tonight.
"Now it's on to a new day tomorrow with new qualifying. So, with a few gains with the car, I think we're heading in a good direction to attack tomorrow and hopefully be up in the mix."
