TOP TEN FINISH FOR BOTH SHELL V-POWER MUSTANGS

Anton De Pasquale – No.11 Shell V-Power Mustang

Will Davison – No.17 Shell V-Power Mustang
Qualifying –– P13 (Fastest Lap: 01:19.7165s)
Race 28 –– P9 (Fastest Lap: 01:20.6839s)

A disappointing qualifying session saw both Shell V-Power Mustangs starting Race 28 mid-pack. However, both Anton De Pasquale, in the No.11 Shell V-Power Mustang and Will Davison, in the No.17 Shell V-Power Mustang fought hard throughout the race to finish in the Top Ten of the season closer.

At the conclusion of the 2023 Repco Supercars Season in Driver's Championship Anton De Pasquale finished 8th and Will Davison finished 10th, while in the Team's Championship, the Shell V-Power Racing Team finished 5th.

DE PASQUALE - QUOTE ‍"Year done, last race of the year. A poor qualifying from all of us, so we were out of the ten which made for a pretty hard race. But we made our way back through to finish in the Ten finishing 7th - which is okay. Our race pace is definitely a lot better, so we'll learn what we can from that and reset for next year."‍DAVISON - QUOTE ‍"Obviously a very disappointing qualifying this morning for both of us. We made some changes and just didn’t get on top of what we needed, the track was quite different to Saturday and we were just well out of the window. It was a solid race, with lots learnt, and definitely some positives in the race, I felt like I drove a really really good race. We had a good start, got through a lot of cars and I was on a really aggressive strategy. I really enjoyed it out there, had good speed in certain parts of the race. Unfortunately, we just had some delays with the fuel in our stops, so I think I came out a fair bit further back than I should’ve. Ultimately lots to look at and learn from, but I gave it absolutely everything I could in both races and it was good to get both cars in the Ten."
