THREE THREES CONTINUE CELEBRATIONS WITH PARTNERSHIP RENEWAL
GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA – [AUGUST 9, 2019] The Shell V-Power Racing Team announced today a continuation of their partnership with iconic Australian condiment brand, Three Threes.
Three Threes, whoare celebrating their 100th year of operation in 2019, will continueto support the Shell V-Power Racing Team into 2020 and beyond, with next seasonmarking five years as a partner of the organization.
The announcementcomes after a hugely successful centenary celebration, which included FabianCoulthard’s No. 12 Shell V-Power Racing Mustang GT rebranded as the No.333 forthe duration of the Townsville 400 race weekend, in addition to three winners takinga fishing trip with Supercars legend and team co-owner, Dick Johnson.
Three ThreesManaging Director Michael McAlpine also joined Scott McLaughlin on the podiumin Townsville, accepting the teams’ trophy following McLaughlin’s victory inRace 17.
McAlpine said thatthe relationship between Three Threes and the Shell V-Power Racing Team hadgrown beyond business.
“Being a partner ofthis incredible team is something that my wife Justine, and the entire McAlpinefamily take great pride in,” said McAlpine.
“The relationshipwith Dick and the team has grown beyond the business aspect to become almostlike family. We are a fifth-generation family-owned and run Australianbusiness, so working with icons of Australian sport like Dick Johnson is veryspecial.”
Johnson said thatworking with the McAlpine family had been a pleasure, and looked forward tocontinuing the partnership.
