DE PASQUALE QUOTE
"It was a mixed bag for us today, we came into this round wanting to try some very different stuff and learn some different things. Unfortunately, we had some dramas, we missed a practice session and then had some carry-over into qualifying as well. So a lot of the learning time we had, we actually missed. When we went into the race, it ended up being a half-decent race but we're still trying to progress and learn as much as we can from this car."
W. DAVISON QUOTE
"Ultimately the results from today were disappointing, we but we had some glimpses of speed and positivity, so it wasn't all doom & gloom. We topped the Q1 session, we just weren't able to replicate that time in Q2 when it mattered - which was frustrating because the car had good speed in it in qualifying, but it was just a very small window to get the speed out. So it was disappointing to not be able to get through Q2 and then we had the penalty which put us even further back which was a damaging limitation for the race.
But we had a good clean race, we made up 9 spots, we had a good strategy, clean pit stops and really good speed at the end of the race where I was charging forward. Definitely, some positives, even though we're disappointed with the results, but it was a good recovery from a disastrous qualifying. There were glimpses of speed in the car, so we know that if we do our work tonight, we've got a good opportunity tomorrow."
