Anton De Pasquale, in the No.11 Shell V-Power Mustang, brings home the first win of the season for the team in Race 17 of the Repco Supercars Championship. A hard-earned and well-deserved win for the Shell V-Power Racing Team. Following a disappointing end to Saturday’s race, where De Pasquale DNF due to electrical issues, this victory was then made that much sweeter.
Teammate Will Davison started Race 17 in P7 but finished P21 after suffering several shunts to the No.17 Shell V-Power Mustang throughout the race.

“It's awesome to be sitting up here (press conference) again and to get a trophy for the whole team. Everyone at Shell V-Power Racing Team has been working hard, we haven’t had a great start to the season but we’ve slowly been turning that around and today everything worked out for us – sprayed champagne, gave the team a trophy – first trophy for a lot of the guys that are new to our team as well, so it’s an awesome feeling, it’s a real buzz.”
W. DAVISON QUOTE“Not a fun day unfortunately in Car 17, just couldn’t take a trick really. We had to start the race on a used tyre, but we managed to hold position then the safety car came at probably the worst time for me because we’d already pitted, so after that, I was getting hit like a ping pong ball by cars that had fresher tyres and unfortunately I got collected and got a puncture, then that was our day done really. Certainly, a great day for the team, lots of good stuff to look at between the two cars just certainly wasn’t the day today for Car 17."
