Davison, No.17 Shell V-Power Ford Mustang, finished P3 in Race 13. Teammate De Pasquale, No.11 Shell V-Power Racing Team Ford Mustang, moved up the grid two places finishing P9.

"First race here in Darwin, done. Wasn't a great qualifying for us, we were just a little bit out of the window and missed the Top 10, which wasn't good. Then in the race, I moved forward but was in a pretty heated battle pack - there was a fair bit of contact, and we're walking pretty wounded after all that but we still moved forward which is good. So, hopefully, tomorrow we'll put the car in a better window."

"It feels really good to get a trophy, a well-earned trophy for the team. We’ve had a big few years, you don’t want to get carried away with third place, but things have changed this year, we know its been a tough little period and a bit of a drought, so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t ecstatic to give that little gift to the team for all their hard work.
 
You know, we cop a lot of criticism as a big team, a lot of unfair criticism but I’m just very proud of the team. The morale and the effort of the team continued to go in when our backs were against the wall - when everyone was slamming us and putting us down - it is really inspiring, so we’re digging in, we’re pushing really hard. It wasn’t that easy out there I still had my challenges, but it was just great to get a trophy just give that little motivation to everyone to keep pushing and we’ll get back on that top step."
