Day 3 of the Darwin Triple Crown proved to be challenging for the Shell V-Power Racing Team, but the team continues to show signs of progress after implementing strong profits gained from our recent test day.

Davison, in the No.17 Shell V-Power Ford Mustang, sat consistently in the Top 10 across the weekend and was on track for 3 Top Ten finishes. He started Race 14 in P8, however, after contact made by Car No.2 in Race 14 which caused issues in the steering rack, Davison finished Race 14 in P24.

De Pasquale, in the No.11 Shell V-Power Racing Team Mustang, qualified P21 for Race 14 but moved up the grid 4 places during the race to finish Race 14 in P17.

In qualifying for Race 15, both drivers finished in the Top 10 with Davison starting Race 15 in P6 and De Pasquale in P9. De Pasquale, in the No.11 Shell V-Power Ford Mustang, lost out in an opening lap shunt which saw him bumped to P17, which is the position he finished in for Race 15. Teammate Davison finished Race 15 in P8.

The Shell V-Power Racing Team continues to work hard and push hard to be at the top. Now the team's focus shifts to Townsville in July.

DE PASQUALE QUOTE
"Sunday in Darwin wasn’t a great day for us, it was a mixed bag in qualifying then a couple of really hard fort races getting into some big battles and copping a bit of damage through all of it, which is never ideal! Definitely, some things to learn, we started quite strong in the weekend but definitely faded a bit – so we will try and unpack that and keep progressing forward”

W. DAVISON QUOTE
"All in all, lots of positives out of the weekend. Lots of changes to our car and we found some things that really work and some things that didn’t. Obviously with 3 Top Ten qualifying sessions for the weekend and what should’ve been 3 top ten race results, I’m very disappointed with the race this morning to sustain that damage to the steering rack by being involved in someone else's incident, which was really the only hiccup in what was otherwise a really clean weekend for us. Still, not the results we’re after, but it was amazing to get a podium and I think we showed signs of good improvements this weekend.”
