DE PASQUALE QUOTE
“It’s good to get a 1-2 in qualifying and convert that in the race, so super happy and everyone at the team is stoked. We will try to keep up the pointy end tomorrow.
“Will pulled out an awesome shootout lap for his 500th race and it was awesome just to be up here, both of us up here.
“Will and I were side by side at Turn 5 and sort of got sucked into each other a bit, we had a tangle, tangle but we both came out the other side, so hopefully it’s all good racing and come off as a good race on TV from that point of view.”
“It’s been a great day, stoked for the team really, after a difficult Winton it was a really important bounce back.
“A great shootout was a lot of fun this morning and ultimately the result for the team is far bigger than me being a bit disappointed for finishing second. It was a great move by Anton at the start it was good fun. It was really important from Winton, we have all worked really hard over the last few weeks to achieve a result like this, this is all about the team tonight.
“I’m so to be part of the team and to get results like this is huge and to see our comradery between both our crews and all the group, it’s a win for everyone. Of course you want to win, that’s what we want to do, but it came down to the start and Anton pulled off a great move, what can I say.”
