Anton De Pasquale finishes in P10 and P8 respectively in Races 14 and 15, while teammate Will Davison finishes P14 and 10.
RACE 14 RECAP
Anton De Pasquale qualified in P7 for the first race on Sunday and teammate Will Davison qualified in P12 during the quick-fire 10-minute qualifying session this morning.
De Pasquale had a tough start to the race dropping down to P9, while Davison retained his P12 position.
During the open lap, Davison was pushed wide by Le Brocq and dropped a position, and shortly after he was able to regain his P12 position one corner later.
Like yesterday’s race, the team went with the longer tyre strategy and Davison was the first Shell V-Power Mustang to come in for his compulsory pit stop on lap 17. Davison was serviced with two rear tyres only during his stop.
De Pasquale came in for his compulsory pit stop on lap 20 and was serviced with rear tyres only.
At the completion of all compulsory pit stops, De Pasquale sat in P10 and Davison in P14.
De Pasquale finished Race 14 in P10 and Davison in P14.
RACE 15 RECAP
Anton De Pasquale started the final 36-lap sprint race from P4, and teammate Will Davison started from P13. De Pasquale had a small slide on the start and dropped a position to Reynolds, while Davison gained a position to P12.
Davison was the first Shell V-Power Mustang to complete his compulsory pit stop on lap 6 and he was serviced with rear tyres only. Davison rejoined behind Feeney who stopped a few laps earlier.
De Pasquale came in for his compulsory pit stop on lap 21 and he was serviced with rear tyres only. De Pasquale rejoined behind Feeney and ahead of Holdsworth who stopped a lap earlier than De Pasquale.
At the completion of all compulsory pit stops, De Pasquale sat in P8 and Davison sat in P11.
With two laps to go De Pasquale was passed by Holdsworth for P8.
At the conclusion of Race 15, B. Kostecki received a 15 second time penalty promoting De Pasquale to P8 and Davison to P10.
After 5 rounds of the Repco Supercars Championship, Anton De Pasquale remains 2nd in the Driver’s Championship and Davison is 4th. The Shell V-Power Racing Team is 2nd in the Team’s Championship.
